The Mailpost 4495 is the extraction unit integrated with the Mailpost 4490. The Mailpost 4490 by milling on three sides guarantees all quality of envelopes can be opened with safety, whereas slitting is not always successful due to the envelope quality.

The extractor unit adds on to the Mailpost 4490 and will either run in auto or single extraction. The envelope is peeled back top and bottom depositing the contents onto a conveyor for ease of operation and the resultant envelope jacket goes to a waste bin.
